On the road

I got up early on Friday morning to put the horses on the walker before I left home at eight o'clock. On the way down to Maria Gretzers place where I made the first stop I picked up my good friend Caroline who's gonna help me with the driving. At Marias place we took the horses for a walk and some grass and then they got a couple of hours rest. When we were getting ready to leave the horses were going crazy from all the mosquitos, and there were millions of them! So trying to put the bandages on Tornesch he of course managed to kick me straight in the head (but not he's fault!) It was a lot of blood but luckily it didn't look like the wound was to deep so we managed to get the horses on the lorry and of we went! Caroline did most of the driving since I was feeling a bit shaky but the trip went fine and we all arrived well at Henk Noorens place this morning! We are making a longer stop here so we are not leaving again until tomorrow morning. Nice for both us and the horses to get some time to rest. Next stop is in Bordeaux and from there we go to Gijon.
