Swedish summer and the cutest foal ever

I' m having a few days off so I went to visit my family down south. Very nice but the weather could have been a bit better, around ten degrees all week end. Swedish summer at it's best!
I also went to see proud mummy Tamina and her foal, it's so cute! Trying to figure out a good name for him but it's really difficult!

A long way home

Rebecca came down to help me with the drive back home. Very nice since I'v been on the road for five weeks now!
We left Rome in the evening and did a first stop in the mountains on the border to Austria. Next stop in Rostock ( in the picture) and now we are driving the last bit home to Norrköping. Can't wait to get home and sleep in my own bed again. Next show is Rotterdam in three weeks so now both me and the horses are going to enjoy some nice time at home!

Rome

I arrived in Rome late on Tuesday evening and the rain was pouring down. Anna from Lisen had been nice and put straw in my stables so I could unload the horses quickly and then start to drag all the stuff through the mud.
The next morning I took the horses on the lunge for a while before Malin came to ride. They were all fresh and happy, Baltimore was a bit too happy but after a while he settled down as well.
In the evening all the Swedish grooms went for dinner at Hard Rock, nice!
Tornesch jumped the small class on Thursday and looked fine but later in the day he had a fever and could not jump the Nations Cup on Friday. Very disappointing since he was in such good form the week before but that's the way it is with horses sometimes. He was good again on Saturday but we decided not to ride him anyway, would be stupid to risk something.
Baltimore jumped his first 150 class and was clear, he is really impressing!
He jumped the 150 on Saturday as well with one down but jumped amazing!
Undicci also had a good show, the first day he jumped the night class under lights witch was the first time for him. He was a bit stressed out but he did a good job! On Sunday he jumped the 145 (it was really big!) and did a nice clear!

San Giovanni

We had a great week at the lovely show in San Giovanni. The weather was really nice and it's one of the nicest show grounds I'v been to!
I was stabled next to Ida from Zettermans so it was nice to finally have someone to talk to after a week alone in Bologna!
The horses jumped really good and Tore won the GP on Sunday! Baltimore was also in great form and was placed sixth in the small GP.
Unicci was behaving a bit badly the first day which resulted in Malin falling off after the first fence, she was not to happy! But for the rest he behaved well and did some nice rounds!

In Italy

We had a good week in Valencia, Bengan jumped clear everyday and really impressed everyone! He was also behaving perfectly all the time, guess he doesn't like national shows!
Tore had one down in the GCT but jumped really good, the first really big class he's done in a while.
Left Spain early Monday morning and after one stop in Montpellier I arrived in Bologna on Tuesday afternoon.
I stayed there for a week before I continued on to the show in San Giovanni where I am now.
Happy to be back around people again but the horses have been behaving well anyway but my legs are a bit sore after all the riding!
The show here starts tomorrow so today we had a quiet day, Malin rode the horses and now me and Ida are heading out for pizza!

Off to Spain

Malin only jumped Lady today in the 140 since the others are going to Spain. She was really good and placed fifth!
Olle and Challe both had one down but jumped nice so it was a good weekend for all horses!
Now I'm getting ready to leave for Spain. We drive to Belgium tonight and then we stop one more time in Lyon. It's a long drive but Rebecca is coming with to help me so it's not that bad.

Grand Prix time

I love that they have free wi-fi in the stables in Antwerpen. Now i'm having some lunch in the stable and soon I will start preparing Arctic for the Grand Prix. Sibon and Danny is not jumping today so I longed them this morning. The horses has been jumping really good, Sibon has been clear in all hus starts and Danny was 2nd in the six bar jumping 2,05. Danny was also jumping the 1,50 yesterday with one down but jumped really good. Now I have to get back to work fingers crossed for Arctic today!
