World Cup final here we come!

Gothenburg is over for this year and as always it was a really nice and well organised show!
We had some mixed results this time but Räven jumped the World Cup with one down, finished in nineth place and is now ready for the final!
Malin was very happy with the two new horses so it's really looking promising for the future.
Lady is like a dream to take to the show, I don't think I ever had such a well behaved horse with me! Räven on the other hand is getting a little bit out of control. I might have spoilt him just a bit too much ( Malin said I made him a monster but I don't think it's that bad!) so now he's on a no sweets diet.
Baltimore has been behaving perfect all week and I'm really impressed with him, the only bad habit was trying to eat the curtains!

Couple of weeks at home

arrived at home not to late at sunday night after a fantastic weekend in Gothenburg. The horses have been jumping great the whole weekend, even though Peder was not feeling very well they did some nice results. Sibon started up with one down in a 1,40 class the first day but since there was not many clears he was placed 7th. Danny jumped the 1,50 with jump-off and was clear the first round but got a little too excited in the jump-off and had two down.

Second day Danny was first to go in the 1,50 world cup qualifyer and jumped a beautiful clear ronund, but not very fast. Sibon jumped the 1,45 with jump-off, probably the biggest course he ever jumped but did it very easy and clear, but in the jump off he knocked down the very last fence, but he was placed 8th.

On saturday Sibon had a day off so i just lunged him a litte bit in the morning and in the afternoon it was time for Danny to jump the Grand Prix. It din't really go that good, I think the horse and maybe Peder aswell was a litte tired so they ended up with 16 faults, but it was for sure the biggest class he ever jumped and only his second Grand Prix so int the end it was good for his education to get in there and try.

Sunday Sibon was jumping the 1,45 speed final and he was for sure not tired and once again made a clear round, not that fast but enough for 10th place. After I was finished I took Danny out and then I could watch the World Cup which Lisen was riding on Matrix and they did a nice round with 8 faults not to bad, it was their first World Cup.

This week Peder is on vacation, Danny and Sibon have a few days off, hopefully the weather will be a little better so they can go out in the fields a litte bit, and I have to jump into my riding pants and help to exercise the horses at home.

A good start!

I arrived well in Gothenburg on tuesday evening. Got my usual corner in the stables wich is really good couse its so quiet here!
On wednesday morning I took Baltimore out first when it was still not so many people here and he behaved perfectly! Then I rode Räven and Lady in the arena and they both felt fine. It's the first time Lady is at a big show like this and she is really cool.
In the afternoon it was vet check time, all three horses trotted good and once again Baltimore was behaving, very nice!
Today Malin rode Baltimore and Lady in the arena in the morning but before that I had time for a nice breakfast at the hotel, thats something you can't miss here!
Lady jumped the first class with one down and some timefaults but did a really good job. Bengan was next to go and did a really nice clear round!
Now I'm gonna get Räven ready for the last class of the day and hopefully he's still in good form.

Scandinavium

Sibon found the candy in my grooming box

Now I've packed almost everything, including my own stuff, I just have a few more things to pacj in the trunk tomorrow, but Peder is riding the horses before we go so I have to do the last after he ridden. The horses are clipped and I gave them both a bath today, hopefully Sibon is still clean tomorrow, he is white and not very good at keeping himseft clean. To Gothenburg I bring Danny and Sibon but since Lisen is going aswell and she is bringing Matrix, Texas and Thriller so its quite full in the lorry anyway. It's nice to have some company and help with drving for once even though it's not very far to Gothenburg, I think we have about 5 hours.

I'm relly looking forward to see these two horses, there a little bit younger and not so experienced, but I hope they will do well. They are both in good shape anyway we went to Borås last weekend and Danny was 3rd in the Grand Prix qualifyer and had one down in the Grand Prix but jumped great and Sibon was 3rd in a 1,40 and 3rd in the middle tour final. We also had Agge, a 7 year old there and he did his first 1,40 and was clear and got a price.

Now I'm going to sleep, bur I will write more this weekend.

Off to Gothenburg

Its been a while (again...) since the last time a wrote and there's been a lot going on. I took Räven and Uffe with me on tour to Amsterdam, Zurich and Bordeaux. All really nice shows so it was a good way to start off the year. Undicci was really good with clear rounds in almost every class! He is much nicer to handle now as well but he is still called "the little monster" at the shows!
Räven has been going brilliant, seventh in the GP off Amsterdam, third in Zurich and fifth in the WC in Bordeaux!
When I got back I went to a national show in Borås with Bengan and Actrice. It was Actrices first show back and I thought she was gonna be totally crazy but she was not bad at all! It's really nice to have her back again but I almost forgott what a handfull she is at the shows. But it's worth it!
Bengan is getting better and better to handle and this time I manged the vetcheck without any rearing up and messing around, nice! He jumped really good so now he gets to go to Gothenburg. I'm going there tomorrow afternoon to give Bengan some extra time to settle down. Räven is jumping the big classes and then I have a new horse with me aswell. She's a nine year old mare by Voltaire called Laledy ( Lady). We only had her for two weeks but she's been jumping really good at home so it's gonna be very exciting to see her at the show!
